You should also drink plenty of water, and eat high-fiber fruits and vegetables.

Heart Problems

A poor diet can also lead to heart problems. Not eating well puts you at a higher risk of developing heart disease. If your diet is high in fatty foods like meat, over time these fats can clog the arteries of your heart, leading to heart attack and stroke. Excessive salt intake can also have terrible effects on your heart health. Foods high in fat, sugar, and salt, can all cause health problems like diabetes, high cholesterol, and high blood pressure. Dealing with these health problems puts you at higher risk for heart disease and stroke. 

A poor diet can cause a multitude of issues for your body. From the day-to-day effects like constipation and bloating to long-term effects like heart disease, eating poorly negatively affects your health. Slowly making changes to your diet over time can do wonders for improving your health and making your body feel better.
